  1. Feel free to suggest other suitable cars for a 4/5 berth as I not totally set on Passat as don’t really like estates, prefer hatchbacks tbh
  2. I’ve only got a 1.6 diseal auto Kia Ceed so not sure that will tow a 4 Berth
  3. I PASSED TEST IN 1992 SO SHOULD BE OK RE LICENCE I THINK
  4. Hi. Just starting out and looking for ideas on best layouts. Will mainly just be me and my 10yr old daughter but will occasionally (maybe 3 weeks a year) be taking her mum (yes my ex !) and their dog. Tow car likely to be a 2ltr diseal automatic VW Passat estate What do you think might fit the bill ? I am a first time caravaner so have been advised to go lower budget on both tow car and caravan and upgrade if I get on ok. Overall budget is max of £10k budget for car and van but people are saying don’t even spend that to start off with. Ideas welcomed. Thanks
  5. Hi. Keen to take up caravanning But don’t know where to start tbh. Am starting my new research as I will be buying a tow car and a caravan. people have suggested I look at something like a VW Passat estate due to their awards. What kind of mileage is too high ? Looking at spending approx £10k total on van and car (needs to be automatic) But some people are saying I don’t even need to spend that much and upgrade later. ideas welcomed PS is anyone in South Wales that could give me practical help ? Steve
