  1. I have now sorted this, had to remove the vertical wooden strips either end which then allowed me to remove the blind fully. This enabled me to see exactly how it works and how to remedy the fault. I rewound the blind by using a slotted screwdriver slowly pulling it back into the roll, I can see what has happened. The nylon cog has teeth on and as you rewind it obviously puts pressure on the teeth, think it may have been tightened too much by previous owner. Reassembled it and so far it’s all working fine, next time I will only need to remove the one vertical wooden strip to access the end of the roll πŸ‘πŸΌ

  3. Hi I'm a little confused by what I have been reading, I always thought that for 16a cable you need 2.5mm and 1.6mm is 10a however I have seen many listings/companies claiming that their cable is 16a but the core is 1.6mm Is this correct ? Thanks in advance Kevin
  4. I am in the process of replacing my grill/cover, thanks for this info
  5. Hi Can anyone help me with some guidance on how to remove/repair my front window blind. As I attempted to put the blind up there was a bang which I assume was the spring releasing itself. So the blind is now in the fully down position, due to it being a full width blind I cannot see either end of the blind so struggling to see how it can be removed. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Kind regards Kevin Newman
