  1. Hi, I think the best bet is to tie a bungie lead to the coiled cable then to the jockey wheel handle making sure it is high enough off the ground not to drag on the road. If you have to do a tight turn the bungie will stretch enough so your cable won't snap.Often did this on an HGV lorry with the air leads and cables to stop them getting all greased up or trapping on the fifth wheel when turning tight corners.
  2. Hi all, I pay £360 a year in two payments of £180. It is cassoa gold, cameras, electric gate washing facilities, and electric if needed. Hardstanding no weeds in site also occupied house on driveway to gate, just outside Beverley
  3. Hi I would suggest 3 m tape double sided, but make sure you clean the caravan area and the back of the No plate meths is very good for degreasing and won't do any harm to the bodywork Graham.
  4. Hi Martin JB. I have had a response from Swift today, this is not the answer I wanted really but as is Graham. Dear Mr Baxter 2018 Freestyle S4 SB (Maj4SB V) SR T2F 2018 s/n 0916469 Thank you for your email and I am sorry to learn that you are having an issue with your locker, this is not included in our recall however this will still need to be inspected. Our teams are no longer completing these inspections directly and all issues would need to be reported to your Swift approved dealer who will inspect this for you and decide how to proceed if a
  5. Hi thanks for the reply Martin. No I haven't been on to Swift yet or had a recall, I thought it was only 2017 models they where getting in touch with, but I did see where a 2018 had serious problems about the fault and it was or has gone back to Swifts for them to work on. My caravan is going in for service early July I will mention it for them to check and see what they say, then I will get in touch with Swifts because it is the third year anniversary on the 18th July so if they don't know about it they will say it is out of warrantee Graham. Hi Martin. Sent an email to Swift and

  7. Hi I have a 2018 Swift Freesyle S4SB Dealer Special. I was at my caravan storage on Sunday and noticed the screws in the front locker are all loose, I looked under the floor at the front but it all looked ok no screws missing. I also looked at the winding steadies and they were in the middle of the handle hole, any advice please.
  8. Hi Flying Grandad, can you please tel me was the £460 the price for both the windows ( ie ) the clear one and the tinted one Graham.
  9. I did a change to the arrangement of the sockets on the bedroom cupboard below the mirror. When I sat the tv on the shelf I had to feed the mains cable and the aerial cable coming from the front sockets around the back to the tv not a pretty site. So I fitted two blanks to the front cupboard then took the mains and aerial sockets and fitted them to the shelf at the back of the tv, now you don't see any wires at the front. The caravan is a Swift Freestyle S4SB, I have see a new 2021 with the sockets still fitted at the front I don't know what the designers are thinking about, please see enclos
  10. Hi. I agree with 635mwd it looks like a tv lead with the outer case missing and the thick rubber sheath would have gone on the outside to waterproof it Graham.
  11. Hello chaser. Is it the door above the sink? I wondered if after the steam from hot water in the sink over a period of time has maybe loosened the veneer And when the chap doing the service has been looking in the cupboards and maybe the door slipped out of his hand and slammed shut causing it to crack.
  12. Hi Walsie. Either of them would be a better bet.
  13. Hi Legal Eagle. I don't want to make a big issue about it but the way I read it was you couldn't understand why people with facilities in there own van won't use them because of covid, but rather use the onsite facilities. I was talking about the costs of the pitch price which included them.
  14. Hi There. The Road Toad and Legal Eagle. Looking at your statements if you turn the argument on it's head why should you pay extra for the camp facilities if you aren't using them. Our first trip out will be 20th May, good luck to every one and stay safe Graham.
  15. Hello and welcome to the club. As far as I know the awning slides into the awning rail then the the flat end of the pole pushes into a small flap at the top of the inside awning, Then the other poles fasten on to them assuming it is a pole awning and not an air awning, Graham.
