  1. Wastemaster is under bed locker, entry via near side locker door. So no need to walk into caravan to get things to set up the caravan everything accessible from outside. 👍🏻
  2. Here’s the photo proof of Aquaroll in front locker. Note the bottom rubber rim that the Aquaroll rolls on is dislodged and raised, so it sit perfectly inside locker. Tidy shelf above supports the ramps, water pump, and corner steady timber footings. alongside the Aquaroll is the EHU cable, water container etc. ive also shown the near side gas locker, with only one gas bottle, three stacking plastic containers to hold the awning pegs, misc fluids, etc, and bucket with cleaning equipment. Oh and another shelf over the top again. cannot fault this style of lockers on Coachman 👍🏻😀
  3. Hi All, yes you can get the aqua roll in the front locker. I’ll send a photo later, as we are all set up on tour at the moment. Only bit of advice is that the rubber rim at bottom end of aqua roll has to be slipped up off its groove, and hay presto the aqua roll fits perfectly well in the front offside lock. also a shelf I fitted above the aqua roll holds my pair of levelling ramps, and corner steady timber feet. And the EHU cable, small watering can is neatly stacked alongside the aqua roll. its amazing what you can hold in these front lockers. papaT
  4. Quite a simple task, and here’s the guide lines document for you. PapaT
  5. Yes we experienced our bottom drawer sliding open during transit. Probably overloaded by the other half, but a quick simple fix. I went to my dealer and asked for a second drawer catch, added this onto the drawer arrangement, by moving the original off centre, and added the second catch. Never opened during transit ever again. ooh you did have to add additional small timber runner along the rear face of frame work between the bottom and next drawer up to secure the catches. PapaT
  6. You will not regret you decision to op for Coachman, Feb is only 12 or so weeks away, and you have the years of enjoyment thereafter. am on my third Coachman and never off the road happy touring. 👍🏻👍🏻
  7. Better method is to go under the A Frame and see the metal clips that hold the cable in the C section of Chassis. un clip them and slide the cable back on itself, and firm a loop, and only to leave enough length between tow car and caravan. Re clip the cable to C Section of Chassis, with this method no more excess length of cables to potentially loosen and drag on road surface.
  8. As recent owner of VIP 575 2018 - neither of you will be dissappointed with this model. We jumped from the 2012 VIP 560/4, to 2015 VIP 575/4, then latterly with the 2018 VIP 575/4 and very impressed with it. PapaT
  9. Yes I experienced this problem with concertina blind door coming out of track during transit to / from sites. Further investigation by myself, found that the blind whilst parked up was not resting on bottom shoe holder, and only suspended at the top. This resulted in the track splitting at either side and the guides came out of the slider track. so this was reported via dealer, but I carried out my own repair on the bottom shoe holder, inserting missing screws, and inserting a plastic shim packer within the shoe holder, to ensure the concertina blind was supported at bottom rather that suspending from a split head track. The above solved the problem of blind coming out of the track during transit, and Coachman supplied a replacement ceiling track, to which the dealer fitted at a later date. no further problems occurred PapaT
  10. Update - we’ll ive recalibrated the Whale IC Unit, as described in manufacturers instruction leaflet. All was fine, with showering at constant pressure and temperature whilst rinsing yourself down. Then I turned the shower off to foam / lather myself up. Then turned the shower on at the temperature setting when I switched the shower off at. Problems started with fluctuating temps again. Very disappointing. But if you, when you turn the shower on, ALWAYS START the water flow from COLD POSITION, rising to desired temperature, then the problem disappears. So the motive on this posting is the shower is great, with constant temperature and pressure only if you start the shower from opening the tap on COLD POSITION and turning to desired temperature. Enjoy. PapaT

  12. Very interesting reading, as I was experiencing the same problem with our Coachman VIP 575 2018 Model. Previous VIP had the Truma water system and was a great shower. So to discover the New Whale IC System wasn’t as efficient ( ie fluctuating temperatures not the pressure ) caught me by surprise, almost scolding me. So I have read the above CT and carried out the recalibration using the cold water in shower cubicle, and await with bated breath until I have my next Hot or Cold Shower 🤔😩 PapaT
  13. That's a simple quick thumbturn connection to LPG bottle. But is it necessary when it's only to be used to exchange an empty tank ( in our case ) once a year. I will just carry that slim spanner you get, as it stores well behind the gas pipe and bulkhead wall behind the gas bottle😀👍 papaT
  14. Did the actual think he was to get away with that shoody workmanship. I would hope that coachman Do something to strike this dealer off their Sales Francise, as it’s totally unacceptable practice. PapaT
  15. We have a VIP 575 2015 model and yes that’s how we control the locker Lights. But the new 2018 model is a switch on/Off
  16. We reviewed the ALL NEW VIP 575 yesterday, and was well impressed. Provisional reservation on the proviso that we had a final inspection during the dealer Open Weekend, that’s when they will have the van fully powered up with Heating / Lights etc. one observation we had was the overhead locker lighting doesn’t appear to have a dimmer control switch, only direct switching On/Off. Does anybody no differently? PapaT
  17. Hi All just keeping track of this topic re cushion replacements. We have a VIP 575/4 2015 and we too are experiencing soft collapsed cushions, and I was wondering if the warranty from LF will still apply. Purchase date was April 2015 PapaT
  18. Is there another two way switch somewhere else in your caravan that's keeping the lower light on ?
  19. For those that are interested in my set up. I have an indentical Sky Digi Box as my house permanently fixed in our upper wardrobe Cupd in the caravan, with the 30m coaxial cable, fed down through the fitments, under the caravan and approx 25m stored (coiled up) in the battery box. I have a cable from Digi Box again fed through cup to TV location. (So all this minimises the joints in the cables) So on arrival I set up the Sky Dish ( anything up to 25m radius) without effecting the neighbours. Switch on Sky Digi Box and hey presto full sky package available to view. Then online with Mobile Device and Activate My Channels so our Sky viewing card is paired to the caravan Digi Box rather than the home Digi Box. Hope that makes sense, and if I am too lazy to set up the Sky dish, I can use the 25m coaxial cable, plug it into the EHU output and just use it as Freeview Reception, as these TWIG AERIALS are useless. PapaT - happy viewer
  20. Yes Pete, there is an issue with tyre skipping at low speed and at full lock. I've done £20k mile and the wear on the tyres is still at a reasonable level. Have you heard if there is a fix on this issue, but GLC has great turning circle, and if that's the only fault then am still VERY happy with my car. PapaT
  21. Well I've managed to get both the Aquaroll and waste Master under the bed. The aquaroll lies on its side, and pushed under the centre frame of the bed, and waste master sides in from the outside locker, with narrow end in first and sits Parellel with rear wall. Over and above that I have two chairs and whatever awning we decide to use take with us, pending weekend or extended holiday periods. It works fine and keeps the toilet free. PapaT
  22. I write on behalf of my friend, who recently purchased an Elegance 645. He is experiencing an issue with his Radio Automatically coming on when he switches the Control Panel on by the master switch. Only annoyance is that you must manually switch the radio off each time. Is this common, or is it a fault than can be simply resolved. PapaT
  23. Also - here's another way to modify your original sink Drainer board. Add rubber stopper feet, self tapper screws to underside. This raises the Drainer to sit over the basin rim. But the wife hates this Drainer as you can't glean it properly.
