  2. thanks for comments, and this morning I revisited the pressure control until and recalibrate the switch, and all go this time. so all day ive been going in and out of caravan, opening and closing the taps, and all is working as it should be doing. first time must have been a fluctuation in power, and the sensitivity got the better of it. caravan now sitting all plumbing in, with EHU connected as if am on holiday, and aqua roll full of water and sterilisation tablets, so the taps will be on/ off a lot over the next day. hopefully we will be on to
  3. I am on EHU at home with a well charged battery also. caravan dealer issued a new submersible pump, as they couldn't get the system during service to cut off and hold pressure, so Ive calibrated the new pump, and the system worked, and on closing the taps the run on time did take longer but it did cut out. but now came across this issue, as I could only get the pump to re start once I had pressured the control tap button to put it off. then repress to put the pump on. so your saying the pressure switch maybe the fault??
  4. VIP 575 Caravan just back from 2nd Service, after been held in quarantine for the last 12 wks, as it went in to Dealers on 21 Mar 20 then Lock Down came. So I am now Glad to have my caravan home again, so setting up all systems ie water and came across this problem, (refer to video demo.) Too large but I will reduce size and issue later the water symbol disappears as it should when tap is closed, but opening the tap again no water runs until I push the Control Panel on/off/on again. and same happens each time I close the tap. anhbody came a

  6. Hello Everyone after consulting with my dealer to pursue a warranty claim on my behalf, only to come back yesterday 27 Jan 20 with a statement that Coachman will not replace the dometic toilet under warranty. I stood my ground an d ask WHY?. Dealer stated due to wear & Tear and we broke it with rough cleaning????. I strong email went back to dealer with my thoughts to explain the issues we experienced, and I received a call stating that Dometic was the ones that rejected the claim not coachman. and now Dometic have changed their mind and will supply a replacem

  12. Has anybody experienced this problem that we have. is it possible to acquire a replacement elbow discharge part ?. and next question is how do you gain access to detach the flush pipe from the broken elbow bend within the wc bowl rim?. appreciate any help possible. PapaT
  13. Am keen to here of someone that may have experienced this problem, and how they resolved it PapaT
  14. Hi fellow Dometic Toilet owners. we have just experienced a failure with the toilet flushing discharge part within the wc bowl rim. It has broken away leaving the elbow & pipe within the bowl rim and the cover piece coming away in my hand. that now explains as to why we were experiencing, having pink solution water seep into the cassette area below, as each time the flush button was depressed, with this crack failure we never knew was there until the discharge part came away in my hand whilst cleaning around within the rim, So the big question now is, is

  18. Hi Everyone with Dometic Cassette a Toilet. Thats is our VIP 575 now approx 18mth old and I’ve notice a lot of water leakage down into the cassette locker, mainly the pink diluted water from the Flush tank. is this leaking between the seal and slider bar at bottom of toilet bowl, and is this due to lack of maintenance on my part. Ie use of OKS 1110 grease and the silicone spray etc to keep the seal fresh. Or does one have to remove and replace the seal annually? appreciate comments on how to stop this seepage down under, as its uncomfortable experience gett
  19. Hi All thanks for advice on this topic. And I would also advise you that my local caravan dealer ( although semi- retired ), helped me out and sourced the spare part from Coachman Parts and revived the replacement Roller Hanger within 1week. With my own skills, refitted the replacement roller hanger guide and all good to go again. PapaT
  20. Hi John the older version was better in my opinion, as the sliding door stayed closed whilst travelling. The newer model from 2018 VIP onwards now have the sliding door kept in 5he open position whilst travelling with a plastic thumb turn at eye level, but if you forget to lock the door in the open position, the door slides back and forth, until something breaks. ie the roller gear within the track snapped and the door jammed itself in the open position. so i have dismantled the remaining sliding gear, with the door off, and laid a side and await a replaceme
  21. Anyone out there that can provide me with a supplier of these sliding door gear for 575/4 toilet door. school boy error - forgot to lock the sliding door in the open position, hence the need for a replacement slider gear as one of them has broken up.
  22. Similar situation happened on our last trip away. Key fob almost separated, and lost its spring out effect. The fob is taped together with the key permanently out until a replacement is ordered. Never thought on warranty issue? papaT
  23. Nigel same bracket as we use, and they fit well against side of caravan PapaT
  24. Thanks ALL problem resolved after I went into my local dealer. They gave me a replace Whale Submersible Pump and IC pressure Controller to try out before I had to bring the caravan in for further investigation. Hoping it wasn’t the Master Control Panel. New pump only solved the problem, but had to re calibrate the IC with new Whale pumpset. So all good to go again. PapaT
  25. These rocker dimmer switches require a press and hold to raise or lower the light level. so press the rocker switch and hold until desired light level is reached. Release and again press and hold to change the light level. PaoaT
