  1. I have an Isabella aning skirt and wheel cover. The wheel cover has female metal poppers for attachment to the side of the caravan. But I have no male poppers screwed to my can and nor do i want them. Can you buy sucker type things that incorporate the Male poppers? I'm too scared to google "male popper sucker
  2. Truma Ultraheat has battery powered spark generator but pushing down on the start button does not generate spark. Disconnected spark generator shorted out 2 pin connector and fire started. Problem must be with switch; anyone know how to get to switch to dismantle/replace?
  3. I need to replace the connector for the PCB on my Thetford C250. It is a PCB edge connector 6 way with 5mm spacing (as per attached picture). I can only find a replacement complete wiring harness online (£50) that incorporates a new pump (which I don't need). Does anyone know where I can get one of these connectors please?
  4. Yes - suppose I could. Better than regular bolts. But would prefer the originals.
  5. Had to saw off alko corner steady securing bolts and need to buy replacements. Anyone know who sells them? See attached picture.
  6. Thanks. I couldn't find a number. So I posted a question on their website contact page a couple of days ago but haven't had a response.
  7. Attached is a picture of my reed switch and where the connector connects.
  8. Thanks for the reply. I recognise this from my older caravan. I think this is the earlier version. Although the end connector may well be the same.
  9. Thanks everyone; spoilt for choice.
  10. I have a Truma Ultraflow system. Often the uptake pipe will not sit nicely on the bottom of the water butt and hence it will run dry when there is still quite a lot of water in the butt. I think this is because the pipe has a tendency to curl back up on itself when it is pushed into the butt. Anyone have this problem or know of a way around it?
  11. I have a thetford reed switch part number 50713 but I need the corresponding 2 wire electrical connector. Antone know where I can get one please?
  12. Car electrics tested and working fine. I have side lights at the rear and high level running lights at the front and rear and none are working (left or right). They did when I last used the caravan in October. I've check the fuses; they're good. I don't think it is the earth because the stop lights and indicator lights work fine. Any ideas?
  13. I have a swift challenger 2010 that is fitted Noredelettronica NE209 alarm. There is a continuous high pitch buzzing sound coming from the alarm control box. This is some kind of internal buzzer not the main alarm siren. There is an on/off switch beneath the alarm unit, if I turn the power off the buzzing sound stops? Any ideas? Could it be the internal re-chargeable battery is defunked?
  14. I don't know how I have managed this but I appear to have got the toilet into a strange configuration that I can't appear to put right. Everything on the cassette appears to be working fine. But when I insert the cassette the shutter on the toilet shuts and locks (I can't open it from inside the van). And then when I remove the cassette the shutter inside the van opens. ???
  15. I thought I would motor the caravan up and down my small drive just to keep things moving part way into winter. This is what happens when I turn on the unit but do not press any of the direction buttons: On turining on the unit (double press of the remote control on button) the control unit double clicks (normal) but the green light flashes in batches of 10 flashes (over about 8 seconds). About every 20 seconds the unit double clicks and continues with the green light flashing. After a total of about one minute the unit turns itself off. This is what happens when I turn on the unit and attempt to to activate the mover motors with one of the direction buttons: On turining on the unit (double press of the remote control on button) the control unit double clicks (normal) but the green light flashes in batches of 10 flashes (over about 8 seconds). Upon pressing one of the direction buttons the unit clicks once the blue light illuminates constantly and the green light flashes as described above. The motors do not engage. The battery PD is 12. 8 volts; it is a new (ish) battery. I have disconnected each of the power supplies to the motors from the control unit and applied an independent 12V supply; each of the motors will opertate under this condition.
