Good to have other views on the matter but I guess it is just us two having this problem. .. ;-)

I will be getting a good quality of these to replace my lanyard as have the same problem https://www. amazon. co. uk/gp/aw/d/B00D2W5R6K/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1509308498&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=retractable+keyring&dpPl=1&dpID=51ngQlCCHvL&ref=plSrch
  3. And a lot cleaner! I use both Halogen oven and the Foreman as I always go camping with the Hungry4. But use them in winter mostly, I use the Cadac in summer.
  4. Yes, I have the original damp report from the guy who did the repairs + pics. The new damp report from dealer (+ pics) stating that the repairs were done using the bare minimum amount of sealant and also have the first quote for the PX and a new quote after the dealer looked at the damp in the caravan. Personally and as mentioned above, I'll just post a few bad reviews but very useful information being posted by everyone. Thanks!
  5. At this point, I accepted the loss and I'm not expecting any compensation and to be honest I don't have the time to enter into a witch hunt on social media or reviews (might post a few tho) I just wondered if there was a centralized organization that would collate all these complaints and if/when more people complained too, they would do something.
  6. Thanks, I found out he is trading under a different name
  7. Guys, I had my caravan damp sorted last may by a guy who was offering 12 months warranty in their website with a whole load of workshop approved logos. As with any damp repair it wasn't cheap but he sorted it. That is what we thought until we had the same issue in the same place only 7 months later. I tried contacting the guy many times and he only gave me excuses, ie getting a new place, being away, etc. Even his website was taken offline. In the end I PX my caravan in for another one as got fed up of waiting. Dealer took a huge chunk of what was offered as it was too wet inside
  8. Clearly you don't know my wife. ..
  9. Hi All, I recently got a 2013 Buccaneer Schooner with water tank. My previous caravan had a flush water tank where we use to put the pink fluid. The Schooner has no separate tank but uses water from the on-board tank. So, where do I put the pink fluid? Could not find anything on caravan handbook Thanks
  10. Yes, forgot to say that.
  11. Thanks Davros, I expected this to happen. It's like asking what is best: Android or Apple and Garmin or TomTom. Though I had very good feedback on what too look for. I guess damp issues will be more evident in a 3-4 years old caravan than in a newer one where all these issues start to appear gradually. If it was fixed by previous owner, then great!. To be safe, I look for FSH caravans and, so far, the Bailey S2 Barcelona is winning (wife and sons) but I still like the Schooner. Unfortunately for them I'm the only one with a B+E.
  12. May I ask why you owned all versions? were that bad that you got rid of them?
  13. Sorry guys, what is U1, U2 and U3? I'm between a Unicorn Barcelona and a Buccaneer Schooner, but wife wants a Cartagena. Haven't considered Swift/Sterling options yet Is that Unicorn Series 123?
  14. Hi All, Looking to upgrade my caravan and was wondering which one of these new constructions is 'best' to reduce water ingress and structural integrity and warranty. Looking to get a used caravan but can only afford models between 2011 to 2014 (if I stretch my budget to its limits for a twin axle) Any suggestions?
