  1. hi we where at a ccc site thee other week and there was a couple there with 7 dashhound dogs they where not parked by us so dont know if they where barking or not but i think this is wrong to allow thoses many dogs on there sites other sites dont allow it and i bet they where all free they should allow 2 then charge for the rest what are your views
  2. we pay £5 a night with fishing, but we've been known to pay £8 on a site with electric hi paul where is it you go with fishing for£ 5 night do you know of any more sites with fishing on site thanks
  3. hi we have quite a few touring hols a year so we go for cheaper sites as we dont want entertainment or childrens faclities been looking and rang a few sites today and most or over £20 just for 2 adults and i small dog a night how much are you prepared to pay for a nights fee what are your views on this when you visit some sites they are half empty if they did speical offers or reduce there prices they would get more people

  6. hi we went a couple of years ago yes the toilet and showers are first class but we did not like where the site was nr to a concil estate not many walks the pitches are very small sorry to be negative but we did not like this site at all but some people love it be warned dont put awning up if it is windy you can see reviews on uk camps
  7. hi want a genny to charge up telly and battery when on rallys we are going to do more hoilday rallys this year we got a solar panel and 2 batteries but thought of getting a genny to top them up as we like to watch telly some nights any bought one that does not make to much noise we dont really want to pay more than £100 as we also go sites with hookup thanks from sue
  8. hi we have just bought d tv rec from asda today to take in the caravan with us it is similar to sky plus you can record one and watch another station so we will see if they are ok just trying on telly up stairs we have sky plus and they are brill £69 from asda
  9. hi been looking for touring sites in differnet areas for from the season when we start in april and the tarrifs seem to be going up an up some site want £20 or more for a night with caravan and 2 people do others think they are going over the top when you keep going for weeks at a time as we do we need to find cheaper sites and ones with special offers or we go on rallies anyone else been looking at site tarrifs and what do you think
  10. hi no swimming pool but a very nice site is glencote. co. uk hales hall is ok swimming pool not very nice site is only ok have a look on campsite search on uk camp site for stoke on trent also there are both leek cc ccc sites which are very nice sites and there is the star farm at cotton put a search in goole for staffordshire camp sites
  11. hi went went a few years ago when caravan club had just taken it on the warden did not warn us about the pitches being tight they lets us go down the bottom and as we where going down one caravan was coming up we hade no choice but to turn in a bay and we got stuck coming out we finally got out not very happy as you could imaigen and we asked for our money back and went on glampton touring park which is a lovley site we would never go to hillhead again

Oswestry Camping & Caravan Club Site New Site: hi just returned from this club site nice site nice toilet and shower faclities and good dish wash and laundry pitches could have do with being bigger just enough room for caravan and porch awning on hardstanding pitches just of the A5 about 8 miles from oswesrty town and 12 miles from shrewsbury we found the site to be very nice also the wardens are friendly a chip van visits every friday between 4pm to 8 pm this site is open all year from sue
  14. hi we have the 2002 eccles moonstone and always been very pleased with it we have ordered the 2008 new eccles moonstone should be here early october it is very nice new shower lay out new hard back corners and more room in the kitchen space we are having a mover fitted as well so we cant wait for it to arrive we looked at the elite range but we did not like the outside of the van from sue
  15. hi we could not go to this site as my mum was ill thee week before rang the site to see if we could rebook for a later date and told we could not move the deposit so we lost £18 but we could rebook and pay another deposit no way if they could not be more abliging then i will not want to visit this site so will give this site a miss and book another site instead from sue
