  1. This might help with upgrading your Alde control panel:
  2. Having driven my car down the narrow road to Appletreewick, I wouldn't dream of towing my caravan along there. CACM Wharfedale is one of my favourite sites and is far more accessible with newly opened Spar shop/filling station nearby.
  3. I'm a Co-Pilot user too. Main benefit for me is the ability to enter OS Grid Ref as destination rather than Post Code or Street Name etc.
  4. The van was new but didn't have an A5 manual, just the usual booklets for appliances etc. Will have to keep receipts for proof of date of purchase and subsequent annual servicing.
  5. I recently bought a S4 Unicorn Seville but wasn't supplied with a hard copy Owners Manual/Service Record booklet. The dealer tells me that this is available on-line and service record is similarly held on-line. I doubt the validity of this advice. I have downloaded a pdf copy of these documents but still don't undertand how the service record will be updated. Can anyone shed any light for me?
  6. Like you, I've just bought a Seville S4 not knowing about the noseweight issues. I've managed to get it to about 55kg but it feels a little bouncy. I'll have to tow with full water systems and extra (unnecessary) weight in the front.
  7. Ordered a replacemnt LED downlighter for my Pursuit 400-2 on Monday. Delivered on Tuesday by DPD with only 77p delivery charge. Can't get better than that.
  8. I stayed at the C&CC site for 2 weeks last August. In my view one of the better C&CC sites with good facilities and a visiting fish & chip van twice a week (excellent food). Being set back just off the B6277 it is a lovely peacful site unlike the CC site not far away which I found to suffer from road noise. The C&CC site has a narrow approach road but is an excellent base from which to explore Upper Teesdale. Barnard Castle and Bowes museum on your doorstep. Had great cooked breakast at Cafe Fresh in Middleton-in-Teesdale.
  9. email message from my local Crime Reduction and Community Officer. Possibly the messenger isn't a caravan owner? With the weather starting to get warmer and the holiday periods fast approaching this is a general reminder to Caravan owners and those considering purchasing a caravan in the coming weeks. When removing your caravans from where ever they have been stored for the winter, please ensure that you have logged the serial numbers along with make and model and any distinguishing features. Caravans are a desirable product and It is advised to make yours stand out from the crowd, by
  10. Other than the ability to simultaneously connect multiple devices, can someone please explain why a mi-fi would be better than tethering through my smartphone which provides a contracted monthly data allowance of 3gb? I'm already paying for this data so why would I pay for more that I might not use?
  11. Does this seem like a good deal? https://www. mymemory. co. uk/SIM-Cards/3/3-PAYG-4G-Trio-Data-SIM-Pack-Preloaded-with-12GB-of-Data-for-Mobile-Broadband?products=&gclid=Cj0KEQiA_eXEBRDP8fnIlJDXxsIBEiQAAGfyoYB2KvkaLhzP2hozjqb7RTpcxSPp8dw8uLECtcjrN-gaAk0U8P8HAQ
  12. This isn't too far away. Haven't stayed there but have often walked in the area.
  13. I take my Sky+ box with me when away in the caravan and the Avtex default setting of Astra 28. 2 is the one that you want to tune in to free to air or subscription channels tranmitted via the Sky satellites.
  14. Thanks to GTB, FL & Arnie. I've just set up pitch at Cwmdu campsite and can receive all BT stations. Odd that I couldn't get them at Hebden Bridge recently. May have been a signal problem.
