  1. I have a bradcott aspire 260. .initially i liked it. I dont now. The legs jack knife in wind and it always looks like rubbish when its erected. Any wind over 20 mph. .forget it.
  2. Bradcott air awning. .is easy to blow up. Is a pain to peg down neatly. Is also able to withstand strong wind. Without damage to itself. . But. .it collapses. Also is hopeless to peg on Sloping ground. It has the advantage. .no poles to damage your van.
  3. My Ivan control panel seems to have gone out of alignment. .buttons strayed to the left. . to operate. Any ideas. .other than a new screen which is about £400. .?.
  4. HI I have a Bradcot ASpire 260 blow up awning. Just returned from Carsington after 4 nights on a trial run. Mine cost £699 including a free electric pump. It came almost complete, save for a couple of steel pegs. There are clear instructions on how to erect it. ail It is rather heavy to pull along the awning rail, but was less of a problem than i expected. Once on the rail. .connect the pump. .and within 2 minutes its up. Very fast erection,it needs a little help to get the air pipes in the correct relationship,to get the awning looking taut. Peg down the edges, insert the two steel poles provided to keep the awning tight against the van. .and thats it. Very, very easy. Then it snowed. ..!!! In common with all the other air awnings,on the site. .it collapsed in the middle. So out I went in my pyjamas. .tapped off the snow,,from inside. .and up she popped. ..took 30 seconds to sort out. taking it down involved opening the three valves. .the air came out without trouble. Follow the in structions in how to fold it and it went straight back in the large bag they give you. I have no complaints. . also still have my trio porch. ...I am too idle to bother with that now. .
  5. i HAVE a GT65 Bologna. ........both front locker doors. .fell off,now neither will lock. Both are to be replaced. I have them closed with black tape at the moment. The wood effect laminate around the front roof window is coming detached from the ceiling. I believe this is a common fault. Everything else works. The IC control is good. .I assume that the ATC works. .but who knows? I do think that that the fixed bed strut is not strong enough,it is hard to raise it when the bed has mattress and duvet on it. ALL of the strips which are fitted on the edges of the shelves all fell off. .I have glued them on. .why cant Bailey do this? The bed is comfortable . I think this van is narrower than my Pageant 7. .Limousin. ...the wife complains that there isn't enough room between the bed and the wardrobe.
  6. The thetford door locks on the front lockers. .do not lock and the hinges keep falling apart. They seem tatty and of poor quality. Dealer has agreed to replace the doors, but they look so poorly made that I can see i will have trouble forever. Also the surround that is around the large roof light is coming unstuck from the roof. .anyone else had this happen. ..?Its a wood effect thing. All the shelf edgings inside the cupboards fell off,and I have glued them on. Also the fixed bed . .will not stop up. . It is a Bologna twin

  10. I have had a look at the Unicorn Barcelona. ....inside it looks superb. I wont buy one beacuse i dont like the colour scheme externally. . The Pegasus GT65 is altogether more appealing. Although with all the comments about bubbling delamination etc etc. .I may go back to my previous maker Lunar. I peresently have a Pageant S7. .Limousin, which I am very happy with. .execpt it is rather lacking in "frills"
  11. I have a S7 Limousin. 2010 Tows like a dream, the cupboard doors feel cheap, but they weigh less than in other vans so that must be a plus. I like the toilet compartment,i would like a slightly larger wardrobe. Externally its a very pretty van, prefer the looks to the Alu tech brigade. I have a twin wheel mover which is great. I must check my windows apparently. .....having read the previous comments. I also checked the sink outlet pipe behind the fridge apparently that can come off. .it hasnt yet. Regarding the warm air heating,,in my previous van. .a Lunar, there were vents blowing up the windows from down below. .how come there arent any in this van? Have fun
  12. i have a powertouch mover. .4 motors on my series 7 limousin. .works fine. I believe the versions which use only one motor per side on twins. .do not work well at all. I did have a Lunar delta 610 for 13 years. .which had NO mover. .and. .guess what. .. I never missed having one. Towed it for thousands of miles. I think movers have become the must have. .dont need accesory of the century. Learning how to reverse might be a cheaper option. renault megane and border collie

    4X4's

I couldnt care less what people think about my 4X4 or the size of my nose. I thank my lucky stars I have one every time I see the fly idiots in thier BMs and Insignia wallowing in the mud. On Our last trip to the continent,I spent some time pulling MOTOR CARAVANNERS off their pitches. .!! One drop of mud or grassy moisture and they are stuffed. ,end up parking in the road. .!! Blocking the campsite accesses. Still I dont mind helping the afflicted. Big 4x4. .and big caravan. .
  14. If its like my Delta. .you will have an inboard water tank. The fillng pump is put in the aquaroll. ..switch to external pump. .and empty aquaroll into tank. Then when you have sufficient in the tank. .switch to internal pump. .and vent your system. ..starting with the taps nearest the inboard pump. All will be well. ... unless you dont have an internal tank like i did. .!!
