  1. I live in Huddersfield but the van is in storage up at Ogden, Halifax
  2. Thanks but think I will leave it to the professionals.
  3. I still cannot open the lock so will have to get someone out to it will be interesting to see how they get into the van. !
  4. Sounds easy enough but I cannot get in to do that.
  5. Ooops had already given it a bath in Wd40, it still refuses to open. Suppose if it melts I am no worse off as It still will not open. I cannot look from the opposite window to see if it moves either as the blinds are all shut. Ahhgrrrr. ! I will have to call a lock smith or a caravan repairer
  6. Good afternoon campers. I cannot open the door lock on my van, lock seems to turn but not just far enough and with all my might I am unable to turn the handle. Has anyone a similar experience and how is it resolved. Don't know if this helps but the van is a 2007 Fleetwood Heritage 560 4 berth with a standard looking door lock.
  7. Will I never learn, came back from Wales again five days early due to yes you guessed it The Rain, will I never learn, have decided the awning and annexxe are just too much to deal with when packing up in the wet, taken me three days to dry it all out. So on ebay it's going. Have decided as dog seems to like kippimg in the car, I can live without the hassle. !
  8. I notice than our 2 year old removable carpets looks really worn (pile crushed beyond redemption) and after only 6 outings, I am going to take them up from now on when we are using the van.
  9. The photo reminds me of the road to a cc site in Cumbria we visited last month, we won't be going back as had a similar experience to yours apart from the irate lady who 'flew' around a blind bend, had a passing place within her reach, ignored passing place and almost hit my van was certainly no'lady' the abuse I got was tantamount to her being a 60 odd year old chav.
  10. I did not know the wet locker was heated in our van when I put some food stuffs in there to keep the bugs off. Was not edible after a day with the heating on. !!!!!
  11. Lost all three of mine, no detriment to van or awning as yet, used it eight times without the square gromets that go on the plastic doodahs that the pole hooks go into.
  12. Well the little blighters have had a peice of me, blerdy hell, I live in a forest near enough and never so much as a nibble, are the Cumbrian Midges a nastier breed, will be hauling out the Citronella next time.>>

  14. Well it's the Bugs that bug me, honest back from the Lakes (Cumbria) and bitten to death by invisible whatever's never saw anything, never felt anything but have 19 bites. Darn it ruined my tan too. ..
