  1. May be a silly question to ask but have you checked the RCD for the battery charger hasn't tripped or if its a separate charge that its a) plugged in b) its mains supply fuse hasn't blown?
  2. We have a Coachman Laser 620 and it is a very spacious van even though its on the 7' 7" wide chassis rather than the current 8' wide models
  3. Perhaps a silly question but was there two outlets? Some open source images appear to show one near the gas locker (not the water inlet) and one at the front on the nearside.
  4. I would suggest looking on Facebook as there are a few user groups on there that appear to have very good technical areas. If you don't do FB search google or similar as there are various forums that may have the answer you require
  5. As you have a static caravan is the A frame still fitted in which case you could use the jockey wheel holder. Alternatively do you have any decking that you could attach the pole to or utilise the TV aerial bracket if fitted
  6. According to data for your caravan from this site https://www.caravantalk.co.uk/caravan-data/swift-freestyle-se-495-2009-caravan-specifications/ your MRO and MTPLM are slightly different to your quoted figures. However if you look at the following link which includes the 2009 Challenger https://www.swiftgroup.co.uk/buy/brochures/swift-challenger not sure how that compares with your model but you will have your MRO, 69kg for Essential Habitation Equipment Payload (this includes gas and battery although may be only one cylinder), Optional Equipment Payload 10 Kg (normally includes items such as
  7. This should help https://www.dometic.com/en-gb/uk/support/dometic-mini-heki-s-_-24747
  8. This may help, there should be an electrical isolator switch as well as the RCD on the main panel. We had a 2010 540 and i'm sure the electric heater isolator was near the gas heater control
  9. Leisure shop direct should be able to help you. They keep/can get most spares for Dometic i believe
  10. Perhaps put some temporary timbers as well local to the area of the original struts so that the roof and sides keep their shape
  11. It still needs the pump on though
  12. There is a possibility that the battery in your alarm is flat or running low. I've just had this with our Laser which meant that the external light was on permanently. Replaced the battery and all sorted. Can't help with the rear light sorry
  13. Assuming you mean the 240 volt sockets check your circuit breakers, usually in the same place as the fuses. If one is pointing down it has tripped
  14. Main battery fuse is likely to be just behind the battery box usually underneath one of the front seats
  15. Ah good point the connector did look quite dull with signs of green corrosion. I'll take a glass fibre pen with me to clean them up as well. Thanks
  16. Paul the pump i bought has a flow of 15 litres a minute at 1 metre head. I'll measure the flow next time we are away and see what i get. When we were away due to soft water it takes a fair amount of water to wash the soap off but in 5 minutes of water flow the aquaroll was still half full. I suspect that as the shower also has poor flow that perhaps there is a stuck non-return valve. I'll see what happens and let you know.
  17. Turn off the pump and open the taps, the only external flaps to leave open are the drain ones that feed into your wastemaster or drain
  18. Thanks for your responses everyone. The pressure switch is self regulating and therefore unadjustable but could be the switch is on its way out i guess. I should have mentioned the shower is the same but i'll give the tap strainers a clear out once i remove and see if that helps as well
  19. We purchased the above just before lockdown and used it last week for a full week but found the water pressure very low. I changed the Truma pump over to the Whale replacement but found virtually no change in performance. The filter was clean but i also tried it without the filter as well. The caravan has an onboard tank as well as the external supply. Would we be better off using the onboard tank and topping up with the external source or is it a case of its not a very good performer. Our previous Bailey Seville used to have good pressure. Many thanks
  20. This image may be of use. If your pin fits in the water inlet then either there is an o ring missing or someone has removed the valve and it may fit in from the rear
  21. This image may help the water appears to enter underneath the caravan in front of the wheel
  22. If your near them it might be worth trying GT Towing just outside Hatfield
  23. I believe Bessacarr's are a 'dealer' special from Couplands in Louth as they are made only for them nowadays
