  1. wow youve done a great job there looking at the picture it looks like you have the original type of covering can you still get it what king of grab glue did you use
  2. whilst sorting soggy wall and have noticed some horrible lumps on the floor between front seats is this due to delamination it doesnt seem soft just hard and lumpy
  3. just peeled off the last section of wet and soggy covering the horizontal frame seems ok so I will be putting a piece off ash covered ply i am thinking of screwing it to frame work were possible but just wondering what adhesive to use. Now I do a lot of property renovations and use expanded foam as a glue it works well and fills in uneven gaps how about using this? or I have used PU glue when contructing stair cases?? or good old evo stick contact glue what is the general consensus out there
  4. if framework ok are you saying its ok just to replace the ply to bad area
  5. cut a long storey short found bottom of side wall under front seat wet so resealed all the rails thought problem sorted but last week felt the wall under main window and it was spongey peeled the plastic wallpaer off to find wall soaking and black with mould. I have peeled most of that wallpaper off and now waiting for it to dry. It really is in a bad way so I am thinking about glueing a new piece of plywood from the floor up to and around the window to try and strengthen it. Can anyone suggest what kind of adhesive could help me. ps the floor was bone dry it was only wet under the plastic coating a foot off the floor!!

  10. I started this topic and I am glad I did because I went the way advised which was rouen and Dreux and guess what no problems any where near what our country has (1 hour delay on M25). Got held up in roadworks as mentioned but that was for 10 mins. Dreux was a doddle we where expecting problems and my wife was shocked when we came out the other end so easily
  11. Hi Everyone arrived in Grau du roi at asite called camp du soliel bit disapointed packed in like sardines (and expensive for what you get) Tried getting on beach had to pay eventually found one near marina ok ish I dont want to sound ungrateful but its seems like a warmer blackpool and very commercial just like how cornwall has become. Can anyone help in getting us away from here to somewhere more like north devon less spoilt up to now we have stayed on municipal sites through france and have enjoyed every minute. Left Aquessac this morning due to heavy rain would have stayed longer. So again could you help I think maybe moving more west is best I dont know, We will be traveling back up to my cousins in Gourdon so thats why I said west. Waiting by computer for help. ps Val are you out there!!
