After the 'warranty' work was done on the Lunar Solaris, we had lost all confidence in it. Nothing wrong with it now the faults had been addressed, I just couldn't reconcile owning a year old caravan with no manufactures warranty on it.
So while away in the Lunar at the Caravan club centenary site in the New Forest, we started browsing other caravans. My wife spotted a caravan she liked at the same dealer the Lunar came from, she preferred it to other dealers because of the colour scheme (the reason we got the Lunar from there).
I fired an email off to them, and they called the following day. Like most dealers, what we saw wasn't in stock, however the previous day a customer had to cancel their order of a Siena Super 4SB - it had gone through prep, had a mover fitted and was ready to go.
Got a good price for the Quasar on PX and did a deal on this one. Ideally, i wouldn't have paid the extra £1000 for a mover i could have taken off my old caravan, but it meant i could pick it up a few days later, the day before a trip to Bridlington CMCC site.
Here i am, enjoying the glorious summer weather with a lovely cold north sea breeze.
