Caravan Electric

From EHUs to microwaves. Whether AC mains or low volt DC, this is where to post your thoughts.

Properly safe functioning electrics and appliances are a big part of what makes your caravan your home away from home.

Understanding power in your caravan can be a big help for any DIY projects you have in mind or maintenance problems you may encounter, as well as day-to-day activities such as correct use of Electricity Hook Ups (EHUs) whilst on site.

The majority of modern caravans can be powered by either an EHU or (for a short stay) a leisure battery, and most caravanners will need some help with one of these at some point. We have therefore created this repository for our members’ collective wisdom on all caravan power and electric matters.

If you can’t find what you need, just start a new topic with your question.
