Caravan Awnings

Post here to discuss anything from a sun canopy to a full awning.

Caravan awnings are a great way to extend the living space in your caravan. There are two key measurements with caravan awnings, the awning rail (channel) and the depth.

The awning rail size should be listed in your caravan's manual, but if you can't find it try looking it up in our caravan specification tool or have a look at our article on how to measure a caravan awning.

The awning depth is how far the awning extends from the side of your caravan and is a personal choice. Deeper awnings allow more room to manoeuvre and provide more cover, but may be too big for some pitches and not everyone wants to holiday indoors.

There are many varieties of awnings, in all shapes and sizes, so whether you want to talk about porch awnings, sun canopies or the best groundsheet, here's the place to discuss it.
