Caravan Motor Mover

For a lot of caravanners, a motor mover is an absolute must - for hitching to a tow vehicle, setting up on site or manoeuvring into position at home or in storage. Lots of companies offer lots of different movers, so there is a variety of options on offer.

 

Aside from the standard considerations such as cost and warranty cover, two key factors to bear in mind when selecting a motor mover for your caravan are, firstly, if the weight of the mover takes you beyond your maximum weight allowance, and secondly, how easy it will be for you to use the mover.

 

If you opt for a mover that electronically engages the drive rollers to the caravan wheel, be sure to check the options for manual engagement and disengagement of the rollers - if the electronic engagement fails and you can’t manage the manual alternative, you could be in a troublesome situation.
