Satellite Navigation

For discussing any SatNav related queries or issues

Although specific caravan sat navs are available, which provide ‘caravan friendly’ routes, the same golden rule used for standard sat navs applies - use common sense! Very few sat navs, even fully updated, are entirely foolproof; all routes should be researched in advance to avoid unpleasant or dangerous surprises.

Many caravanners feel the specific information provided by caravan sat navs to be a matter of common sense anyway, and prefer to use a standard sat nav in conjunction with reliable maps, road signs, and directions from caravan sites.

If you have advice or questions on a particular sat nav, or about satellite navigation systems for caravans in general, check the discussions here and feel free to start a new topic.
