Camping Alentejo

This is one of best sites in Portugal

Same here really good site we stayed longer than planned as well

We stayed here a couple of years ago and loved it. Nice touch - a booking sheet to use the laundry facilities saved frequent trips to see whether the washing machine was in use. There is a pond just up from the site entrance with many small but extremely vocal frogs. We pitched on the upper level which was close to the entrance to a lovely walk across a field then through the cork trees.

Very relaxing. We went to to a small restaurant just below Evoramonte Castle and both are well worth a visit. The castle is now a hotel but well worth walking around.

We will return.

We love it too, but its so good word has got around and its been quite full last couple of times. As an example of how a small site can be this is is it.
