I spent far too long bleeding the system before I realised that the supposedly heavy-duty 12v pump had failed. We are still waiting for a replacement. Some equipment is very cheap and disappointing for such an expensive van. The microwave doesn't work properly because the door hasn't been hung correctly. The radio is a cheap JVC that was never imported into the UK so presumably a job lot has been bought in Poland. The bathroom mirror is chipped, the front central window was badly scuffed and the whole van needed cleaning inside and out when first collected. The water system seems unnecessarily complicated with two fill sockets - and there is no way of filling the loo flush without a jug or watering can! It is a complex piece of equipment and reading the manual is essential. 5 Very much a Marmite van - traditionalists will be unsure, but it's a very modern, exciting look. Yes, very. 5 It tows beautifully - if you have a big, powerful car. It is heavy. Our car didn't like the LED indicators and I have had to modify the lights. 4 New van, no sign of water. 5 It's terrific - when we have got everything working. You do need to read the manual. We went for the Impala fabric and a Truma aventa air conditioning unit - which is easily powerful enough. 4 new Franchised dealer Fine - helpful and went the extra mile to get the right air conditioning and trim for it, but I was a bit surprised to be made wait a month for the repair. This is unashamedly Swift's flagship caravan, using its Swift HT system with bonded panels and no structural wood. It's a very striking caravan from outside with smooth corners and huge windows. It is crammed with equipment, including a 30L fresh water tank between the front seats. It has Alde's very powerful 'wet' system for heating and hot water. More of that later, but it is very highly specified. Internal fixtures and fittings are all top of the range and beautiful to use. The van is styled in a very modern, clean continental style. If you like a nice fringed table lamp, this probably isn't the styling for you, but if you like clean Scandinavian looks you will love it. The most impressive thing about this van is that it has clearly been designed and properly thought out by people who caravan and love caravanning. Clever use of storage space. Huge numbers of power sockets. A bed that is really big enough for a six footer. Amazing, clever and really useful lighting. As an example, there is concealed lighting behind the cupboards over the front seats. Open the cupboard door upwards, and the light floods the inside of it. Tiny powerful LED lights above each wardrobe shine into the cupboard when open and downlight when it is shut. Furnishings are good quality (go for the Impala stainproof fabric) and comfortable. Tracker, Sergeant alarm and axle lock as standard.
