• 2013 4 Single axle Touring 1308 1460 7.084 2.280 Yes Yes 3 Even after a few hours putting things right on collection, within six months the van has already been back to dealers four times for the following:

Replacement F/O/S window (marks inside) then had to go back because of two different catches along the bottom. Replacement front chest (Fell apart).
Kitchen doors re-aligned and tightened (3 times).
Replacement door fly screen (disintegrated).
Replacement lounge light (flickering).
Replacement light switches for both O/S external light and grab handle lights. They were originally wired reversed which was changed but they still did not work right. Replacements were then put in upside down by the dealer and had to be changed again.
Both front mattresses have had to be re-covered underneath as the plastic end caps on the slats are sharp and stick though the fabric. This caused at least 20 holes. Lunar's solution to the dealer was tell them to file the sharp bit off. This they did and left the dirt all over the place.
The blinds all around are the worst blinds I have had in any caravan. They appear very cheap and none of them run smoothly, some catching on the window locks and stays. Dealer states this is normal!
The Dometic toilet is good except the movable flush is extremely difficult to open at times and scratched the very first time out. Again dealer said this is normal and ok, nothing wrong with it!
Got home after collection and both 12 volt sockets were not working, fuse had blown.
Because of the poor routing of the heating pipe around the F/N/S locker, there is a very strong draft and cold spot when the heating is required. A very strong wind blows through the ventilation around the microwave.
All three front windows have had to be replaced due to faults. The van has to go back again because one of the catches is not right and one or two other minor items.
The water pump has disintegrated and a new one had to be purchased whilst on a rally. The regulator is so unreliable and needs adjusting each time out.
The front Heki window keeps falling to bits and has to be refitted once on site.
The kitchen tap could not be operated once the blind was pulled down unless you wanted hot water in the kettle.
Any other industry but caravanning, this would be totally unacceptable.

I telephoned the After Sales Manager at Lunar but she refused to speak to me. She does not talk to members of the public!! 5 Yes, very much so internally. The external panels do look somewhat flimsy and the inside struts can be seen but the overall look is great. Yes, although I do think the soft furniture could be better for a Clubman. 5 Very, I pull with a Shogun!! Solid as a rock. 2 All of the above bad points. 5 Yes, very well. Spent 5 weeks in France and still couldn't fill all of the storage space. Yes. Changed the siting of the signal indicator for the aerial because it was hidden at the back of the wardrobe! 5 new Franchised dealer Seller was fine. After sales was/is very poor and still ongoing. Yes

Great layout for us with fabulous bathroom which was main reason for change of van. Lots of storage space except for larger items (changed from a fixed bed). Good front locker. Overall look is neat and clean and should exude "class". Alde heating works very well.
