Touring Familia 320

Eriba320
 • 2012 2 Single axle Touring 720 900 4.83 2 196 No Yes 5 if you are tall you are going to bang your head, post 2009 models are slightly taller.Standard internal water containers only 13 litres so frequent trips to the water tap. Internally the roofs lowest level is about 5'4'' high under the seat where there is no pop top but that is a trade off for the pop top and ergonomics. You sleep width ways so if you are 6' plus you may struggle with stretching out in the bed. They are expensive however they work out cheap as in the long run 30 years service is not unusual in the Eriba world. No oven, hot water is an extra. 5 You bet!! its a style icon.......... to me it is anyway :-) It can take ages putting up my awning as lots of folk will ask questions about it. it is practical and comfortable for its size. 5 Its light weight, low profile and streamline shape makes this probably one of the best caravans to tow..... ever. 5 There seems to be an issue with the Electrics with the 2012, it is wired up wrong and will not charge the battery from the car, warranty work.
Truma electric thermostat is in the cupboard making the heater turn itself off, you need the bypass thermastat kit then it is fine.
Check for lose or missing screws in the cabinets
check the older models as pre 2012 the subframes were not galvanised, its rare but check for rust.
window seals, if they are grey they will need changing and will cost a lot of money if you cannot do it yourself.
Early models the fibreglass gas bottle holder can be damaged and expensive to replace.
5 Yes it exceeds our requirements, because of its size it stress free with everything we need. motor mover added. Well recommend is the Truma ultraheat electric element for the fire. 5 new Franchised dealer they were good and delivered the van to my door 250 miles from the dealer for a small charge. https://www.caravantalk.co.uk/community/uploads/monthly_07_2013/ccs-54822-0-50914300-1375221208.jpg Yes
the build quality is excellent, nice and compact, very easy to tow you hardly know it is there. Very stable in strong winds and when large lorrys overtake. Iconic design, longevity of the design (expect 30 years plus use). Easy to pitch up and great for small drives if storing at home. very low deprecation (that's if your ever lose your marbles and sell it). Warms up very quick, excellent ventilation with the pop top up.
Damp is not a common problem with the Eriba due to its space frame construction.
