  • 2006 4 Single axle Touring 1165 1375 7.066 2.14 9.69 Yes Yes 4 The upholstery is more functional than sumptuous (which I can forgive), but the front benches quickly became uncomfortable and were upgraded. Build quality is so-so in some areas (shower tray was split on delivery, door to bathroom needed adjusting, and it developed the `furniture coming away from the walls` syndrome, cured under warranty) 3 It looks `traditional`, without the excesses of some of the newer, upmarket vans. I quite like this as it is less likely to date or fall out of fashion compared to some of the new designs which may be guity of trying too hard. Looks clean, simple, neat and functional. It is now! the front cushions were sorted out by Tockfield - not cheap, but the difference is worth the extra. Enough room to spread out, large changing area. We don`t use it in winter so the heating and insulation is more than adequate. 5 When I brought it home from the dealers empty it was horrible. Loaded normally it is excellent, very stable, brakes are progressive and it is light-ish for its length. No swaying and no pitching, apparently the V-tech chassis used by the group is `the dogs` 4 Other than the furniture issue (covered by warranty), nothing has gone wrong, dropped off, disintegrated, worn out or leaked. The furniture coming adrift IS a known problem, and WILL be expensive to put right if you have to pay for it, so check the remedial work has been done. 5 Absolutely. The replacement of the (poor quality) original sprung front bench seat fillings, a couple of exterior mains elecric points, additional interior power points, wiring and sockets for satellite system. 5 new Franchised dealer Very good, with good aftersales service.<br />As we were unsure if the `van would fit down the drive, the realer accepted the deposit on a "subject to" basis and brought the van up to the house to physically try it, aided by 4 technicians from the workshop to provide the muscle. Really can`t fault them (Kenmore, Mirfield) https://www.caravantalk.co.uk/community/uploads/monthly_07_2013/ccs-4778-0-15908900-1373385427.jpg Yes

Quite an airy van despite its (relatively) narrow width. We needed a van that we could fit down the driveway, and as most are now up to 7`6" wide (which is wider than the narrowest part of the driveway) our choice was pretty limited. The van hasn`t had much use, so still looks almost new, and despite being towards the `budget` end of the Elddis ranges, has more than enough equipment for our needs. Big end washroom with good sized shower sold it to SWMBO.
