After a few days around Civray, in the garden of Julia's brothers house in the Poitou-Charentes, we found ourselves, in light drizzle, headed south down the N10 towards Bordeaux, arriving at the campsite at about 15:30hrs.

We woke to the sound of rain, which quickly passed, leaving everything damp! After breakfast, we sauntered around readying ourselves for the trip to our next campsite near Le Mans.
The trip down was uneventful and longer than necessary, the reason being was that we either took the péage (Toll Roads) or the free roads, we took the free roads, saving ourselves €

Coutances is one of those places which we have passed through many times, but have never stopped in. The campsite, the municipal site, was situated in a wooded area next to the Sports facilities. If you search Google for 'Coutances Municipal Camping' it takes you to the offices in the Town Hall, so do what we did and search for "Les Vignettes, Coutances".
