We will be running steam and other trains giving rides, plus an exhibition of static models (including my nearly finished traction engine) . Free entry too! I like making model engines that are not off the shelf and are only ones made nowhere and need investigation and a challenge . The Fowler Showmans (Red) another is now being built by a person in India who contacted me for information . The Garrett Showmans (Blue) was the only one but a person in Lincoln has now made the same . I also have a one off that was a redesigned and rescaled Hunslet tank that was featured at the London ME and in the publication Model Engineer . If you have model post them in your gallery always interesting . Hydraulic and steam tested, just putting the final bits (gear guards and canopy ) before its first rally as a goer. We will be at Normanby Park, near Scunthorpe for May Day weekend. Les Been to the MSRVS rally a few times myself over the years but not been there for about 8 yrs now before the major flooding . Hope the weather stays dry that weekend .
