Due to popular demand, we've created a dedicated forum for Eterniti Caravans :)

Please post all of your Eterniti related threads in here. We've also moved a lot of pre-existing threads, so if you have been talking about Eterniti, but cannot find the thread any more it's probably here!

Hope this helps...

We have been thinking of changing to an Eterniti van but have just encountered what could be a problem.

We are at present on a CC site who are now insisting that the van is parked just off centre, with the awning out 2 1/2 metres

& the car at the other side of the van we are just touching the grass on either side.

What will happen if we buy an Eterniti with slideouts as the pitch is not wide enough.Meaning that the car must then sit

in front of the van. There goes any view we may have had.

Time for us to have a rethink, as I can foresee problems on some campsites.I still love the concept though. :(

Solution is no awning and just use the electric awnings as a sun shade . That's what I intend doing when I get a slide out van . Even just a couple of feet of slideout makes a difference .

Most CC sites only have enough room on a pitch for car ,caravan and awning without squeezing it in and staying off the grass .

They are okay in Europe as they have bigger pitches usually .

I don't know where you go in Europe BUT many sites the pitches are so small that you put an awing out and it touches your neighbour!

I agree with you Ted,the pitches all over europe are usually smaller than the CC pitches, with the odd exceptions.

As we virtually live in the awning we would certainly not like to be without it. Just a sunshade would,nt cut it I,m afraid Dave.

After much discussion we are both agreed. We stay with the Bessacar. :)

Pity as I do like the Eterniti    :(

Sorry guys and gals, we forgot to add a note about this...

We had concerns about the alleged issues and claimed information in this topic. As such we have removed the posts and asked the member who raised the points to resolve the matter directly the company - the appropriate course of action.

Hope this helps explain things.

Ben

Today we went to the caravan show in Birmingham and met Phil Daniels (MD of Eterniti ) and after a long chat we were totally impressed by his enthusiasm, honesty, integrity and commitment to Eterniti Caravans. All other members of staff we spoke to also had the same ethos and it was very nice to meet Denis Williams (after sales manager) who cannot do enough to rectify any problems we have had with our IB 4. Looking around the other stands it was reassuring to see that we had made the right decision a year ago to buy our Eterniti, as there is still no other manufacturer that comes close in our view. Keep up the good work Eterniti! Dom and Jen.

Hi Eterniti folks,

We have been looking to have a change for about 9 months now and have been looking at an IB4. It seems the after sales service has good reviews, but it also appears many owners have needed to use.

Looking at the the 2014 brochure from the show this week I noticed the warranty is now 6 years as opposed to the 10 years in our 2103 brochure.

I have just joined the forum, what are the NCC questions all about above?

I seem to remember that a contributor, who apparently owned an Eterniti caravan, posted an allegation to the effect that the manufacturer's claims in their brochure of the caravans being NCC approved were questionable.

The manufacturer issued a statement on a social media site, a copy of which was also posted in this topic, seeking to clarify the matter regarding NCC approval. All of the postings of the contributor have been deleted together with any postings referring to the manufacturer's statement.

I have just looked at the manufacturer's website and can find no reference to either claims of NCC approval of the product or to the Company's recent social media statement.

I believe in the last few days they've removed last years brochure that mentioned NCC and replaced it with a new pdf brochure which doesn't mention NCC.
