hi i have just bought a dawnstar caravan ,i have got everthing working except my gas water heater i have read the instruction manual but evertime i press the on button the green light comes on then there is a bang and the red light comes on .i swiched it off like it says in the book and try again but it bangs again and red light comes on . i have tryed this about 10 times and it is still the same can anyone help as i really dont now what i am doing please help paul

Paul,

Have you taken the cover off the exhaust outlet on the outside of the caravan?

If it is a Carver Cascade, it does not have a cover on the outside to remove.

From the sound of the problem it seems like a burner module failure.

I would expect the modules burner is badly corroded and this is causing poor ignition and all the 'banging', I can repair this for you.
