Does anyone know of any good apps for the Nokia...
I've got the Nokia X6... Symbian operating system... Cannot find any good apps for it....
Anyone got any good pointers, apart from changing phones....

Your not likely to find new apps for Symbian. Nokia have now dropped Symbian in favour of Windows Phone 7

Luckily I'm due for an upgrade in 7 months... Was hoping there would of been some already out there... Got the spirit level app... Got the Asda store finder... which is a waste of time lol... Tells me everytime I launch it that my nearest Asda is in Falmouth 1,220 miles away....
Hoping for an iPhone next.... but until then got to make do with this... Only good thing about it, is the maps.... Sat Nav is one of the best I've used....

There are new Symbian apps still appearing some of the newer ones are available from the Nokia Beta site if you don't mind installing some development software on your phone most of these will be released once the final testing has finished just installed the latest version of Nokia maps suite with voice search on my N8 and its great just have to say something like "fish and chips" and all the closest shops are listed handy when away in the van.
Personally I see nothing wrong with Symbian for a phone it has many advantages it was designed from the ground up to be a phone based operating system unlike Android a Linux spin-off or Windows, the battery life is better then any of the current other system smart phones who seem to need charging at least once a day I get about 4 days from mine and I nearly always get a signal where friends with I phones and Android models same network do not.

Don't get me wrong This is one of the best phones I've ever had... But the apps seem to be mostly chat orientated...
Was hoping there would be a few more caravan apps....
All though the maps are good the POI's are not to everyones taste...
Use the Ovi store regular...
