Hi Folks
was wondering if anyone can reccomend a camp site close to the ferry port at Portsmouth for 24 July 2010.

We catching an early ferry so dont want to be too far away.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

O yes nearly forgot, They have to take dogs.

Thanks
Mikeyv

Hi Mike,

Rookesbury Park CC site at Wickham is about 8 miles from the ferry port, the last 6 miles(ish) being to motorway that takes you direct to the ferry port.

For C&CC there's the site at Nutbourne near Chichester which is a similar distance away and again the last 6 miles is the motorway/dual carriageway.

There are several small CLs within easy distance and even a Hoseasons site with indoor and outdoor pools and a bar.
If the latter suits you better then get back to me for deatils.

HTH,

G.
