mikeyval Posted September 11, 2017 Share Posted September 11, 2017 We have just bought an Eccles Jade. It came with the centre chest drawers removed (we have the chest). My question is this - has anyone made / bought a drop down table/shelf for this area? On the front wall there is what appears to be 6 fixing points? Anyone know what for? Jaydug Posted September 12, 2017 Share Posted September 12, 2017 I remember from lots of years ago caravan tables were held in place by hook fittings with one half being fitted below the front window. The other part of the fixture was screwed to the table. The table fitted at a 45o angle and when it was levelled, it held firmly in place. I wouldn't count on the front panel being solid. There will be light-weight timber around the windows with perhaps some further pieces lower down, but in the main most will be either foam insulation or fibre glass matting, depending upon the age of the van.
