Alshamal
Hi everyone Just been looking at a Regritting repair kit on E bay, for my van mover wheels which are starting to show sings of being smooth and slip when going up onto my drive ! The price price is £28. 99 including post, which seems quite reasonable for both rollers to be done! All you have to do is take caravan wheels off it sounds too good to be true! just wondered if any one had used this product and what they think of it, It sounds a bit like a messy job to me not that I'm not against making a mess! Looking forward to hearing your replys Cheers

gravon42
I have done it! Brilliant piece of kit, well worth it, and you get enough grit to repair two or three times! 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2, Lago grey 2013 Freelander Dynamic Black, followed by a 2013 Elddis 574 Magnum GT white

David 38
Am I right in thinking if getting new rollers they supply the non-grit type? Have you considered use new rollers, and their cost? I'll get busy on the keyboard and Google and see what I can find, it's Reich I'm looking for.
svimes
Ours has metal spiky rollers, are they the newer type. They do slip a bit in wetter conditions, not sure if they need adjusting so will check.

Griff
Changed my Reich gritted for the metal type 4 years back, £300 for 4 on my AWD twin axle mover. Much more effective than the gritted type. Now waiting for a new mover to be fitted so sold one pair recently for £70 with the second pair coming off soon. Edit. If you change to the metal type, still remove any gravel etc from your tyres before use as the serrations do chip. Edited January 18, 2018 by Griff Pic added.
