Tiggy2014 Posted June 1, 2017 Share Posted June 1, 2017 Evening all, I'm hoping for some guidance! Used my new (2nd hand) 390 air awning for the first time a few weeks ago. Everything was good but the 2 outer beams folded at the bottom, the pressures were all correct. Is this because I pegged it wrong? Didn't think I had, I pegged the 2 rear corners, inflated and then pulled out and pegged. The first time I've also used awning carpet, what a difference. Tiggy2014 Posted June 2, 2017 Author Share Posted June 2, 2017 Yeh I should have taken pictures of the inside. Could that cause it to happen? I did twist one and it made it slightly better. If it's really bad I try to twist the covering around the bladder and make sure there is plenty of air in the bladders. But it's never let me down, so I live with it. +1 It inflates, doesn't leak & tbh having bent bladders doesn't affect the use of the awning from my side. audio2 Posted June 2, 2017 Share Posted June 2, 2017 This is a response that I got from KampaMax when I had a similar problem. Hi audio2, Oh wow, that's quite severe. The tubes can sometimes twist when the awning is not fully inflated. Normally this will be fixed by simply re-inflating the awning, however if it has not in this case, I would recommend you take a look at the video below. I did twist one of them and made it a little better so will look at it a little further investigation but as people have said wasn't a massive issue I just don't like it not being right.
