Italy - Camping Verde Cupra, Cupra Marritima

Stayed at this site in July 2016. We had a slight problem finding the site, which is up a hill from the coast. Due to a sign being angled the wrong way, we missed the site and ended up on a narrow winding road. Eventually realised we had gone too far and managed a multi-point turn. Found the site easily enough on the way down, as the sign was readily visible coming down the hill!

Almost entirely statics, with room for only a small number of tourers. We were the only touring caravan (and the only non-Italians) on the site and had plenty of space for the caravan, awning and car. Staff were friendly, as were many of the static caravanners. Very low electricity supply, anything much more than the fridge and a couple of light bulbs and it tripped out. Toilet block a little dated, but clean and of a reasonable size.

Nice pool, but loud booming music almost all day, which continued from the entertainment area after the pool closed, sometimes until very late at night.

A bit of a tour de force? Thanks for the multi site reports a useful resource for those thinking of going to Italy.

David,

No problem, I've picked up a lot of useful tips from the forum over the last year or two. Only fair that I give something back!
