Macca1972 Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 My 2014 Tempest is pretty similar but has the factory fit swimming pool option I bailed it out twice today - see my post under solid I'm really disappointed caravans look great with great layouts but mine despite a factory return leaks like a sieve. xtrailman Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Having looked at a 550 Affinity today just out of curiosity, we were both stunned to actually got a WOW factor looking at the quality of the caravan. And a very interesting and imaginative layout, I love it. The 550 has a huge TV table which will take our 32" TV no problem, and also has a stable door. IMO these caravans will sell like hotcakes. Well done Elddis, now remove timber from the walls and roof along with the floor, and we would buy one tomorrow. Positive - directional TV aerial, wine cabinet moved to other side of sink unit near front seats. Negative the new large central skylight very bulky looks like its been added as an afterthought. (reminded me of the additional lighting units they add at the shows). Also had a different tint to the other skylights. The hekis in the 2015 models are much neater and in my opinion provide enough light anyway. I wasn't particularly impressed with the bathroom skylight either it looks rather flimsy on the toothed opening belt.
