Towcar summary

What's good?

Effortless performance, very comfortable, A very "American" looking car.
It could swallow enormous amounts of luggage.

What's bad?

Finding somewhere to park it, odd quirks like no rear wash/wipe, fixed rear windows.

Would you recommend it?

Yes

Towing performance *****

How well does it tow?

Without question the best tow car I ever owned. The engine, although not very powerful for its size had seemingly endless torque, the 3 speed transmission was very well matched to the engine. Very stable, even in gale force winds it never seemed in any trouble.

Solo performance *****

What's it like without the caravan?

A comfortable living room on wheels

Reliability *****

Anything to look out for?

It's an old car, you would buy it for its own sake. like many cars I've owned.

Practicality *****

Is it easy to live with?

If you have somwhere to put it.

Buying experience *****

Did you buy it new or used?

Used

Where did you buy it?

Privately

What was the seller like?

Still a good friend.
