Caravan summary

What's good?

The spacious feel about the seating area . The toilet/ shower area large enough to change comfortably .
We didn't use the shower but liked the drop down hanging rail for my lightweight trousers etc
The light inside wardrobe is a good idea. Long slim fridge excellent .

What's bad?

The only thing at the moment because it's still very new to us . But maybe the hanging space in wardrobe is not long enough for trousers . But we can find ways around this .

Would you recommend it?

Style & comfort ****

Do you like the way it looks?

I found the colour in the van very light and bright . So yes if you want more colour you could add cushions . But I like it the way it is .its calming and restful .

Is it comfortable?

I don't find any caravan seats comfortable and always use cushions as back rest . Nice long seats that were very comfortable when made up for sleeping .

Ease of towing *****

Is it easy to tow?

Yes it was a dream to tow with our Mondeo .

Reliability & water ingress ***

Anything to look out for?

I can't rate this yet as we have only had it for three weeks .
There are a lot of new things for me to think about with the new technology . I'm sure I will get used to it .
I just hope it continues to live up to my expectations .

Practicality ****

Does it meet your holiday needs?

Yes . It's very nice and perfect for the two of us . If our son wanted to come he could stay in the annex on the awning or bring a tent . There is plenty of space to sit in the living area for 4 to sit comfortably

Any modifications?

Maybe take a small lamp . Although there are lots of lights with dimmer switches .

Buying experience *****

Did you buy it new or used?

Where did you buy it?

Independent showroom

What was the seller like?

Excellent from Newport caravans .

Good to know, thinking about a Conqueror 480 or an Elegance 480 for next year.  Hoping the Elegance gets the longer bodyshell like the Conqueror next year.

We pick our new Conqueror 480 on Friday

Collected our caravan on Friday, very impressed dealer attention to detail, we went for the payload upgrade 997kg) to 1550kg

Good luck .
Hope it goes well for you and you enjoy your caravan .

Given the Conqueror a good shake down a couple of minor problems, however our Swift dealer advised use to use the caravan and put it through it paces, that is the only real way to show up the faults. They insist the returning the Conqueror within 30 days of purchase so they can inspect the caravan.

Very pleased with both caravan and dealer Salop leisure.

Ours is due to be built on 31 October . ... look forward to getting it!

Good luck I hope you like it as much as we do .
We went to the show today at the NEC . I went to have a look at the new design they haven't changed it only the curtains . Also looked at other vans with the same layout . I still feel the same about our choice . Spacious and looks good .
We are going away again next week can't wait . We have had to have our motor mover re checked . And while its in I'm having a catch repaired . Nothing compared to out last van . I hope it continues.

12 months on still happy with the caravan, just had it serviced just some minor problems and software upgrade.

Towing behind our new Ford Kuga 2.0 powershift 32mpg with just over a 1000 miles on the clock.

Ours has now been used for 70+ nights with no issues.
