I was just popping to the shops a couple of days ago and encountered a very stroppy 'lady' and have quietly seethed ever since.

There is a junction which for the left turner from the main road is just plain nasty. It's far less than 90 degrees and narrow narrow narrow to boot, so those of us that live nearby are more than aware of the problem should anything larger than a mini attempt to take the corner. They always cross the line, so as a result those of us in the know hug the nearside curb and approach slowly.

We're not talking pavements and suchlike, the house on one side is in the gutter if you know what I mean.

Well as luck would have it, there was I approaching from the side road well to the left and slowly when suddenly a pillar box red car came shooting round the corner far too fast to make it on their own side, I slammed on the anchors to avoid a head-on and as she passed unflinching, perhaps oblivious would be a better description, she glared at me through our open windows and yelled, 'You need some better glasses mate!'

I was totally blown away and too amazed to counter, in any case she was gone in a cloud of dust.
